Very fully equipped apartment, on arrival there was a small gift for our children which was much appreciated. Good central location to restaurants. Friendly and good reception on arrival.

Very confortable appartement with access to a nice pool, beach and garden. A lot of entertainment, restaurants and shopping at walking distance. Parking space just in front of the building. Excellent communication with Jacobien, our host. We will be back here, for sure !

We have been staying in the super beautiful penthouse Het Suikerdiefje at Ocean Resort in Curaçao for a number of years. On arrival we are always welcomed by our support and help Jacobien. She also always ensures that the refrigerator is stocked with the first necessities. If there are any questions, she is immediately ready for you. Her husband Herman is there for the chores if something goes wrong, so a golden couple. The penthouse has a great location, close to the Sea Aquarium, where you can see dolphins splashing and jumping from the balcony. You will lack nothing, large American fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The penthouse has a large living room, open kitchen and three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet. So top in terms of privacy. The large balcony completes the picture. The resort is only accessible to residents, each with its own parking space. There is a swimming pool with sunbeds and also a private beach where you can take a nice dip in the sea. Within walking distance to the beach of Mambo Beach and many restaurants and shops in the area.
So all in all, the perfect location for an unforgettable holiday, with sun, sea and a penthouse that feels like a second home. A paradise for us, our Sugar Thief

We had a fantastic stay in your lovely apartment. In reality it looked even nicer than in the pictures. The location is perfect and it is wonderfully quiet on the resort. By playing with the wind you create a lovely temperature inside, which makes it extra pleasant. On arrival at the apartment we did miss the towels, but after some WhatsApp contact they were brought along at a later time. We had a wonderful stay and without a doubt would like to come back to Suikerdiefje when we are in Curaçao again!

Even better than we dared hope... Fabulous property with great facilities inside small resort complex with private beach and pool rarely in use by others, private parking, swim towels included etc. Walking distance to Mambo Beach and loads of covid-safe outdoor dining. All really excellent. Easy check in and out. 25 mins from airport, 15 mins from town. Supermarkets 5 mins. Three bedrooms each with own bathroom. Huge fridge/freezer. Sorry to leave…

Wij zijn met ons gezin van 5 in het penthouse verbleven.
Het is heerlijk ruim, elke slaapkamer een eigen badkamer.
Alles was heel goed schoongemaakt en als je wilt wordt er kosteloos tijdens je verblijf nogmaals schoon gemaakt.
Verder ontbreekt het aan niets, ik vond het heel fijn dat ik een wasje kon draaien indien nodig en de enorme koelkast met ijsblokjes machine was heerlijk in die warmte.
Je parkeert je auto op je eigen parkeerplaats en stapt in de lift naar je verblijf.
Je hebt vanaf je balkon een mooi uitzicht op het resort, de zee en de dolfijnen van het aquarium.
Je loopt vanaf het resort zo naar het strand. Voor de mooie stranden moet je wel een stuk auto rijden maar als je even lekker wil zwemmen kun je naar het privé strandje lopen of een duik in het zwembad nemen. Mijn dochters vonden het heel leuk dat het zwembad lekker diep en zo rustig was.
Verder was het contact met beheerder Jacobien ook erg prettig.
Samenvattend een plek die we iedereen die met wat meer mensen een accommodatie zoekt op Curaçao aan kunnen raden!

Het penthouse voelt echt als een thuis. prachtig ingericht, goeie bedden en banken en het uitzicht op de dolfijnen en oceaan is the best! Het is heel fijn dat je op een rustig parkje zit met privé zwembad en strand en je de drukte en leuke restaurants op loopafstand had. In de slaapkamers comfi airco en in het huis zetten we alle deuren open waardoor er een zacht windje door het huis ging. heerlijk!

Alles is goed bevallen.

Fantastic stay - highly recommend
I did a lot of research for our trip to Curacao and I am so glad we chose to stay here rather than in a hotel. The apartment was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the big terrace and the view out to the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped. The apartment is located in a small gated complex, so it felt very safe. It is short walk to the little private beach, which is gorgeous and has plenty of loungers and shade. Communication with the host and the property manager via WhatsApp was very easy. There is air con in the bedrooms, which was helpful as it was very hot when we were there.

A very minor point, but I do think it would be nice to provide hand soap in the bathrooms and a sponge for washing dishes. Other amenities were provided, such as coffee pods, laundry soap, dish soap, dishwasher tablets and bin bags, which was much appreciated.

We look back with great pleasure on a wonderful stay in the Suikerdiefje penthouse. The welcome was friendly and pleasant, clear explanations, a nice bottle to start the holiday and an extra gift from a birthday boy in our midst! The accommodation is exactly as shown in the photos and even more beautiful than hoped. Very clean, spacious rooms, tastefully decorated, equipped with every convenience including air conditioning, kitchen is fully equipped, including an American refrigerator with ice cubes and chilled water option. Private parking on the closed grounds, beautiful views, well-maintained swimming pool and a great private beach available. Conviviality and a wide choice of restaurants within walking distance and supermarkets within a short drive.

When I think of *"Het Suikerdiefje"*, a smile immediately appears on my face.

The location is simply perfect. Everything you need is close by: you can visit the liveliness of Mambo Beach, but the Suikerdiefje itself is an oasis of peace. The view is truly breathtaking: the Caribbean Sea stretches out before you and you can see the dolphins swimming from the terrace. And then that wonderful breeze that blows through the house when you sit on the terrace. It really feels like you are in your own tropical paradise and you just don't want to leave.

What is also ideal is that the penthouse is located high up, so you are not bothered by mosquitoes anywhere.

In addition, everything is arranged down to the last detail. From soft, clean towels to your own parking space, you really have everything you need. The kitchen is super complete, even with a refrigerator that always offers cold water and ice cubes - ideal for a refreshment after a day in the tropical sun.

Jacobien is a great hostess: she is caring and always available if you need anything or have questions about the area. She really makes you feel welcome.

The beds are wonderful and the whole house is spotlessly clean and well maintained. It feels like everything is arranged for the ultimate holiday feeling. If we go to Curacao again, there is only one place for us to stay: *"Het Suikerdiefje.”*
